you might as well throw the trousers, as even though emulsion is water based. once it dries on, there is nothing that will remove it. (as I was informed from a paint manufacutrer)How do you get red paint stains out of black polyester trousers?
Try soaking in cold water first , depends on the type of paint. If this fails , rub with a little turps then wash straight away, Don麓t put the trousers in the washing machine ,or the machine will smell of turps and the next load of washing you put in will smell too. Hang them outside in the fresh air . The smell will dissolve in a day or two
if it's anything EXCEPT gloss it will be water based and wash out.


If gloss paint, well by the time you have finished with the chemicals and scrubbing they won't be fit to wear
