What type of paint is it? Acrylic based paints could possibly peel off it the paint dried on whatever spot until you noticed it. (This is more so for house paints...) Artists acrylic is water based so you might actually be able to scrub most of it out but it really depends on the color. Certain colors WON'T come out. Now oil based paints...I would try something like paint thinner...but it might be a little harsh on your shirt...and considering I am not sure what kind of fabric, of there is anything screen printed on...then I can't promise you that won't also ruin your shirt. If it's just cotton then give it a shot - although I will warn you it is stinky. Read the label first. Um what else...definitely DON'T just the thinner on any type of screened on image...it will dissolve it as well, most likely.

My best advice is A) DON'T wear your fav. shirt while painting! : ) and B) When you figure out what type of paint it was, what fabric your shirt is...then google something along the lines of ';How do I remove an _____ paint stain from a _____ (%26lt;type of fabric) shirt?';

(Don't write what was in the parenthesis!) Good luck...but some colors just won't come out. Oh and whenever you are done was the shirt, of course. Sometimes just plain old washing will work. USE COLD WATER! Hot water generally sets in stains!
scrub it with soap let it soak in the sink. then put it in the washing machine and use spray and wash.
