How to remove a dirt dust ';stain'; from new auto paint?

I had my truck painted a couple weeks ago i washed with plain water as instructed however when dried there is a palm sized dull dust stain on the hood that appears to be part of the clear coat paint. How i do i fix this situation? How to remove a dirt dust ';stain'; from new auto paint?
it might have to be wet sanded and buffed out. take it back to the shop that painted it. they should be able to buff it in a few minutes. If its a reputable shop they'll do it for freeHow to remove a dirt dust ';stain'; from new auto paint?
blame the repair shop and have them fix it. its scummy, but they wont argue with you. they shouldnt have let the car out if the paint wasnt fully ready/dry.
There are these high gloss cleaner solution that you can use with a buffer. Turtle wax makes a great solution that you can use with a buffer.
