If the paint is on your person rather than your environment, don't worry - acrylic and emulsion paints will come off quite easily if tackled when still fresh and wet, simply with water (cold and warm, respectively) generously sponged into the area and then rinsed and washed as usual. In fact, in the case of emulsion paint, if it is not removed when fresh, it is almost impossible to remove once the paint has dried. For oil-based paints (gloss %26amp; enamel), do the same thing but using white spirit or turpentine instead of water - although use as little as possible to avoid damaging the fabric. What is the best way to remove paint stains from clothing?
It's almost impossible to remove paint, especially latex. You can try sponging with dry cleaning solvent or turpentine, then laundering it.What is the best way to remove paint stains from clothing?
If it's already dry then it's not coming out...
If it's still wet, then you can rinse it out and wash it right away.
If it's STILL there after you take it out of the washer (DO NOT DRY!) then use Goo Gone.
