since they are all apparently different woods and finishes at present, prime them all %26amp; paint the trim color of your choice. primer is important, as you may not know if all of the existing stains/paints are oil or water based. if you need to replace the doors, you can get pre-primed hollow core doors at reasonable prices from your local mega-home-improvement center...Stain or paint interior doors?
if you are planning on selling, paint the doors and the wood trim - makes it look new. Take the handles %26amp; hinges off first-easier than painting around them. Put each set in a plastic zip lock bag %26amp; lable it by door (hall bathroom, bedroom #1, etc...) so you can easily put it back on correct door.

Other than replacing them all and starting from scratch, the cheapest and easiest would be to simply paint them all to match. Staining looks beautiful, but in order to get them all to match you would have to strip every one of them down to bear wood before staining and finishing. with paint all one needs to do is fill in any major blemishes with joint compound. Lightly sand if needed to give a good base to start on, prime, and paint.
Hint. With paint you get what you pay for. Spend the extra couple of bucks on a good high quality paint. Sherwin-Williams is hard to beat.
I personally would stain them because the paint would peel off sooner then the stain would. Now I'm no house designer but I also think that the staining colors make the doors look shiney and glossy which is always fashionable and classy.
Good Luck!
generally I would say stain but in your case PAINT. It will be easier and less time consuming. Just sand, prime and paint. If you have trim or moulding paint it all the same color so it looks good.
The cheapest quickest fix would be to paint them. Primer them first. Stripping and restaining is a hassle and they will look fresh and match with paint. Staining different woods will all look different anyway.
Paint, stripping and staining is hard hard work, been there done that. If the wood doesn't match you can paint it easier and at less expense.
paint them. re-staining would be to time consuming and not worth the effort from the sound of it.
