how do i?How do i remove paint stain from my uniform?
Quickly before it dries...but since you're posting on the internet, I'm guessing it already has dried. Now it depends on the type of paint AND the type of fabric. In many cases, it's just too late now, unless it's tempera paint. (Egg-based, washable and only likely if you're doing art with kids.)
First, pick away whatever you're able to. If it's a rough fabric, this is more likely. If you're looking at something like satin or smoothe polyester, pulling might just ruin the weave.
Next, check the paint container for applicable solvents and start with the least volatile. Use as little as possible and read all the directions for cleanup before opening the container. Work in a well-ventillated area and wear rubber gloves...kitchen gloves or disposable are both fine. Your fabric defines what solvents you can use, too. Dyes in natural fibers can fade/wash out with many solvents. Synthetic fibers...well, those can melt depending on the type.
Try reposting with more specifics if you need further help. Chemicals can get messy and it's a fine line between clean, dirty and destroyed, so be careful. Good luck.
I make and paint styrofoam letters at work...my usual method of dealing with paint on my clothes (after the very first freak-out) is to be more careful next time and suffer through it when it happens again...and be glad I don't have to wear the company polo shirt anyplace else. How do i remove paint stain from my uniform?
try a little petrol or diesel. this really works. you could also try nail polish remover if its not a silk uniform.. be sure to wash it off well or else the smell will remain
