Ammonia works well for me. There is a product at Menards and Lowes that works well. Ask at the paint counter. I don't quite remember what it is called, but they keep it on hand for ';accidents'; in the paint department.Do you know of a good stain remover for paint splotches?
What kind of paint, and what kind of material?

There is a product called ';krud kutter'; comes in a spray bottle that will soften paint if soaked for a while. I use it quite often, by soaking and scrubbing with a stiff toothbrush I keep for that purpose. Once it's softened, sray with spray %26amp; wash, and wash in tide or some other good detergent. If stain is not gone, repeat with the krud kutter before item dries.

This item is very good with water based and acrylic paints and has been used on some oil based paints also.
