Anyone have any ideas on how to get paint stained skin clean?

My boyfriend is in the military station in Kosovo. I guess they don't make non-toxic finger paint over there... He was finger painting with a little girl in an orphanage and now he has purple stains on his face, hands and arms lol... Any ideas on how to get it off?Anyone have any ideas on how to get paint stained skin clean?
Try some bleach...or...go to an art supply store and buy special hand soap for artists. Its specially formulated to remove paint and stains from skin. I'm a painter and I use this soap that is excellent...';The Masters'; Hand Soap...original B%26amp; J. The label says is comes from a place called G.P.C. Inc., Box 5311, Redwood City, CA

goof-off. not near the eyes though..
I've used a few things to get stains off my skin... GooGone and lemon juice or vinegar. Depending on the type of paint, any of these things may work. Remember vinegar works on everything!
is there no paint thinner around?
If it's oil, turpentine or mineral spirits. Other than that, time is the only thing that will get rid of it as the skin grows and replaces itself, those layers where the actual stain is will be gone in a few weeks. Not much else to do.
Fast Orange hand cleaner or GoJo may help. If he can't find any, have him go see the mechanics or other ';grease monkey'; type guys. They may have some.

If you were ever to remove paint stains from clothing, what would be the best method? Why?

Thinking chemistry wise.If you were ever to remove paint stains from clothing, what would be the best method? Why?
It depends on the type of paint I suppose. For instance if it is latex based you may be able to just use Isopropyl alcohol. If it oil based paint try acetone(fingernail polish removal). you may also use acetone for enamel based. If you were ever to remove paint stains from clothing, what would be the best method? Why?

How can I remove neon body paint stains from my white dress?

It was the first time in wearing it to a party, and someone thought it would be funny to cover me in neon pink body paint. The dress is made out of 100% viscose. would I be able to get the stains out from household bleach or something?

Thanks! :)How can I remove neon body paint stains from my white dress?
use bleachHow can I remove neon body paint stains from my white dress?
if it's made from viscose it's dry clean only. if you try washing it could shrink and warp. water does this to viscose. i would take it to your dry cleaners. if the paint is dry and flaky, you could try using a very dry hard sponge to rub it off. do a test spot first to make sure you won't damage the fabric. there is a product out there called ';miss oops'; it's a special sponge, they sell it at david's bridal for $12 that works wonders on dry stains like deodorant and makeup, if this sounds like that kind of stain it will work wonders getting this sort of thing out.

Is there a way to clean paint stains from shoes?

Unless your shoes are leather or suedeIs there a way to clean paint stains from shoes?
If your shoes are made of leather, put them in the freezer for a few hours and then put pressure on the stain, the paint should crack and peel off semi-easy.

If they are made of cloth, the only way to take the paint off is to scrape it off,in a pinch you could paint the rest of the shoes so you have a matched pair.

One note to the paint contractor above, normal people do not paint walls in their $300.00 dress shoes.
Jason,

I have been a paint contractor for many years. Every time I get paint on an article of clothing I am certain I can get it (the paint) out. Believe me on this. The ability to remove the paint is inversely related to the price of the article. If they are 10.95 dollar tree shoes the paint will come out like a dream but, if the shoes are 300.00 dress shoes....it ain't comming out.

You might try isopropyl alcohol or a strong ammonia cleaner.

Mike
the BEST is called GOOF OFF it WORKS!!!!I I have used it for many years comes in a can or a spray bottle any diy or paint store has it please try it you will love it.

i own a shop, and the tree sap has ate the clear coat off of it that's the white bubble your seeing right now,if its a real nice car you,ll have to have that area repaired by a good body shop, that's about the only way to do this other than try it your self, and on black its hard to work with, you,d be better off having this one done, good luck i hope this helps. There was a tree stain in my car paint and after i washed it off a white colour bubble spot has appeared.?

If you have comprehensive coverage insurance on your vehicle you may be able to have your paint job redone. Usually there is a $300 deductible to pay, but if it's not resolvable any other way - it is at least an option for you to consider. Check your policy %26amp; with your body shop guy.
the sap lifted the clear coat on your paint...the only way to fix it, is to have a touch up job or a whole new paint job on the car...(some cities have superb touch up painters...you can't tell it's been touched up...see a dealer...they know the best ones.)
